Description: THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE ENGINE MAY STOP WHEN DRIVING

Build Date: 1999 to 2000

Number: 1488

Defect: There is a possibility that a condensor may become detached from the circuit board due to the breakage of the component wiring. The engine may stop or be difficult to start.

Action: Recall affected vehicles and apply silicone to the condenser to act as a vibration damper to counteract shocks that can be transmitted from the suspension through the body to the circuit board.
