Defect: Wheels falling off could be because of design flaw or defect, as the company now admits. Mainichi paper, "...the hubs were prone to crack when excessive pressure is applied to them when turning."
Mostly involves Japanese customers but a few of the trucks in question were exported too. Please check with your country's Mitsubishi Sales unit to check if your fuso is one of them. Also, Mitsubishi Japan is involved in further talks with the Japanese government regarding a potential another recall.
