Defect: Incorrect crimping of the join between the front and back shells of the brake booster.

Consequences: The two shells may come apart. As the brake master cylinder is attached to and supported by the front shell, function of the master cylinder is lost.

Corrective action: Inspect crimping and replace booster if crimping found incorrect.
