Defect: Water may enter the front floorboard area and corrode the electrical connector for the seatbelt pretensioner and stop lamps.

Consequences: The seatbelt pretensioner may malfunction and the stop lamps not illuminate.

Corrective action: Mitsubishi dealers will examine the seams of the side sill and upper dash area that may allow water ingress.
