Consequences: The rack may become dislodged and in the worst case become detached from the vehicle.

Corrective action: Mitsubishi dealers will modify the mounting brackets.

Consequences: The hose in the worst case may crack and leak causing the vehicle reduced braking efficiency.

Corrective action: Mitsubishi dealers will replace the brake hoses and mounting brackets.

Corrective action: Installation of a wiring harness which incorporates a diode pack to the SRS control unit.
