Status: Inactive

Defect: Concerns TN Magna SE, Elante and Elite vehicles, VINs as shown plus (TNOX45) chassis 51366 to 56690. Not all vehicles within above ranges are being recalled. Vehicles may have been built with incomplete rivetting of the driver's seat height adjuster mechanism.

Consequences: Displacement of the rivets will result in inadequate retention of the seat.

Corrective action: Inspect seat for evidence of in-plant check. If not checked, determine if subject rivets are to design specification. Replace seat height adjuster assembly if required.
