Complaint Description: may, 98; consumer experienced difficulty in steering at 47,000 miles. mitsubishi dealership could not find a problem, consumer took vehicle to mechanic and had the brakes replaced, and the power steering fluid was leaking over into a boot that made the steering hard. also, rack and pinion needed to be replaced. mitsubishi dealers said there was a nation wide back order. please add vin. number. *ak .
