Complaint Description: transfer case failed at highway speed, squealed for about a mile, and then locked up. transfer failure caused damage to the transmisssion and clutch, requireing replacement of transfer case, transmission, and clutch. was told by reno mitsubishi that failure was caused by loss of lubrication from transfer case seal failure. when checked in 2001 by delon mitsubishi transfer was reported to have no problems. dt .
