Complaint Description: the gas pedal is stiff. upon quick acceleration, the throttle is stuck wide open, making the engine race to maximum rpm's and the car can reach it's maximum speed. the gas pedal has to be kicked repeatedly, to get the car to deccelarate. this has occured many times over the last 5 years, but we could never duplicate on demand. i can now duplicate it on demand. i wonder if any one else has reported this problem with 1995-1998 galants ?*ak .
