Complaint Description: all four rims on car are defective... causing tires to deflate rapidly. the tires have to be inflated daily... losing 5-10 pounds per day, more in cold weather. tires have been checked, and are fine. two brand new sets of tires have been destroyed by underinflation in two years. the rapid deflation of tire pressure has caused vehicle to slide off the road. mechanics say rims are all "out of round". dealership was notified and agreed to replace one of the four rims, but wouldn't pay for additional replacements because warranty was up despite the defect. tires should not have to be inflated daily... and this poses a dangerous hazard to self and other drivers. dealership said to call nhtsa if i didn't like their response. sincerely, scott kline .
