Complaint Description: moldings have been replaced twice on each side. (left and right) last time the dealer cement glued them to the frame of the car only to fly off again. at highway speeds or with top down this is able to cause injury to myself or another vehicle. i have repeatedly contacted mitsubishi every time and to no avail. the problem still exists and will continue unless they find out why this defect exists. i have taken the car to the closest mitsubishi dealer located in brandon, florida. they have had the car on their lot since the last incident (july 6 or7th) i demanded they keep it until they could satisfactorily fix the problem so that i would not be causing injury to another passenger on the highway or to someone in my vehicle. april 9th first side flew off (right) 4/11 service took off left side as it was also broke end of april the left side was replaced right side on back order. 6/20 right side part in and replaced and glued with cement glue. left side taken off and glued also as was broken again. 6/5 right side flew off again! 6/7 carleft at mitsubishi until fixed. no safety defect listed in summary. *ak .
