Complaint Description: the getrag 5speed transmission is poorly designed. my personal car only has 48,909 miles on it. the car has been meticuluously taken care off, as far as replacing fliuds promptly. the syncronizers in the car are causing the tran not to let me put the car in a new gear. i have contacted a dealer and the only way to fix it isd to replace the tranny with a new one, which is $5,000. i don't have a million dollars or something and i feel that mitsubishi should repair these awfully desinged trannys at their cost.*ak .
