Complaint Description: transmission upshifts and downshifts very abruptly banging severly on each shift. took to dealer ,was told shifting was normal.problem got worse , took to another dealership (20,000 mi) ,was told computor needed reprograming and repaired.somewhat remedied problembut as time went on problem reoccured.again was told this was normal shifting and nothing more could be done. took to transmission specalist was told shift patterns were not right and the abuse to this point will definility affect the life of this system. trying to get satisfaction from mits. without much success. *ak .
