Complaint Description: vehicle stalled out under heavy braking conditions and also at idle. throttle body cleaned as repaired. auto continued poor idle. later, battery became fully drained. with headlights on at highway speeds, engaging brakes or turning on any cabin electrical device would flicker and dim the headlights. replaced battery and belts for repair. alternator tested out okay. poor idling attributed to low voltage to idle speed motor. continuing issue: engaging brakes flicker and dim dashboard lights. the application of the brakes(or brake lights, perhaps) interferes with the electrical system and ultimately, engine operation. this seemed most evident when voltage was at a premium. *ak .
