Complaint Description: consumer received recall 02 v 143 001 concerning transfer case oil leakage. while driving 65 mph vehicle commenced to make loud clanking noises, lost power and leaked oil. manufacturer was contacted, and they informed the consumer that the vehicle was repaired under this recall through the previous owner, and that nothing else would be done. however, the remedy failed within a year. *ak .
